As the federal government launched the Inquiry of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women on September 1, 2016, the numbers continue to increase. The proportion of homicides in which aboriginal women were killed has increased to 21 percent in 2014, from 14 per cent in 1990.
We will continue to honour our Sisters and their loved ones affected by their disappearances, murders and/or unsolved crimes.
Everyone is welcome. Come out and join us to honour the missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and their families.
